Formed in 1909 and originally known as Doncaster Amateur Operatic Society, we are Doncaster’s oldest and longest running musical theatre society.
Since 2014 we have been bringing award winning West End musicals to Cast theatre in Doncaster. We have a strong passion for our art and our hobby, DSP’s members strive for excellence.
We are fully affiliated with the National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) which provides assistance and training in all aspects of theatre.

Meet the members.
We’re a multi-disciplined company and our production team always make perfect use of every one of our cast members; our strong choral voices, natural comedians, talented dancers, confident soloists, character actors and everyone else in between.
Meet the teams.
We have a full and active committees here at Doncaster Stage Productions. The main (executive) committee are responsible for selecting future productions, hiring the production team and managing the running of the society. The social committee plan our fundraisers, social events, after show parties and pizza party rehearsals.
Charitable status.
In spring 2020, Doncaster Stage Productions made the change to become a charity. This change is significant as it opens up many possibilities for funding, training and workshop opportunities. This also means that we will be able to benefit from Gift Aid donations in the future.
