Doncaster Stage Productions has been performing high quality live theatre to audiences in and around Doncaster for 107 years; we pride ourselves on the professional standards that our shows achieve and will endeavour to continue into the future.
However, it is becoming increasingly important that we sell as many tickets for our shows as possible. As we see overheads continually rising it is important to remember that our revenues are derived mainly from subscriptions, donations and ticket prices, therefore it is essential that all members help by making donations and giving their time especially at arranged fundraising events – a bottle stall at a local summer fayre or may be a helping hand at a regular monthly coffee morning or an early start at the local car boot sale or a cake stall at a festive church bazaar/fete.
Social activities too are a crucial way of raising those much needed funds that subsidise our costly productions. The social committee organise and run events throughout the year to allow our members, to meet and have fun. These include the post-rehearsal pub visits, race nights, cabarets, quizzes, BBQ’s, seasonal meals, Christmas parties, raffles, picnics and family fun days. There is usually something for everyone, and family and friends are welcome.
